In our six years of marriage, my husband and I have had to navigate the natural challenges of having a blended family along with the heartbreak of three miscarriages and some major financial losses as well. During that time, we have been abundantly blessed with the birth of three little ones which has been a great joy! Our situations haven’t always been easy, but through the grace of God and continual surrender to His will, we have grown tremendously at dealing with all that is thrown our way. 

After going through such transformative experiences, I realized how important the role of a wife and mother is. Our culture tends to promote distorted views of marriage and family life, often making it confusing to live as a faithful woman, seeking to glorify God through everyday life. Having a blended family adds to the unique challenges of daily living. The Overnight Mom was created as a way to share (what I am continuously learning) with others and help Christian mothers live up to their fullest potential in the vocation of married life, despite challenging family dynamics.

Since getting married, I have also published a few books. Prepare! is about the time of singleness before marriage from a Catholic perspective. Loved From Above, is a children’s book that goes through the development of a baby week-by-week during a mother’s pregnancy!
